Morgan Faulkner is a rare breed. He’s a hardcore surfer from Texas, yes Texas. He’s a former amateur state champ who now spends half the year chasing elusive swells in the Gulf of Mexico, riding oil tanker wakes when it’s flat and teaching kids how to surf at his camps in Galveston and Corpus Christi. The other half, he bases himself in Hawaii and charges the North Shore and Tahiti.
